The heart of "pink town"
  • YEREVAN

Arrival in Yerevan, transfer to hotel. Check-in at the hotel. City tour around Yerevan - the ancient capital of Armenia. Explore the uniqueness of the city streets; you will enjoy the warm atmosphere, friendly smiles of local people and unique coloring of this wonderful ancient city-Opera House, the Cascade Complex, Republic Square, the Governmental Building, Statue of Victory, the Stadium and the canyon of Hrazdan. Visit to Tsitsernakaberd- the Armenian Genocide memorial complex - dedicated to the victims of the Armenian Genocide.

Breakfast at the hotel.

Visit to “ArArAt” Brandy Factory with cognac degustation. Continue trip to Khor Virap Monastery (17-18 centuries). Enjoy the impressive view of Mount Ararat. Visit to Areni wine factory with wine degustation. Visit to Noravank Monastery (13 century). Lunch at the restaurant. Come back to Yerevan. Free time in Yerevan. Dinner.

THE MONASTERY OF THE CAVE
  • YEREVAN    |   GARNI    |    GEGHARD    |    YEREVAN

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit to Matenadaran - a repository of ancient manuscripts, research institute and museum. Drive to the Temple of Garni (the 1st c.) - the classical Hellenistic temple. On the way have a visit to the Arch of Charents. Next visit to the Monastery of Geghard (the 13th c.) - being partially carved out of the adjacent mountain, surrounded by cliffs. It is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lunch at the local house with mulberry vodka tasting and have a master class of Armenian national bread ”lavash”. Come back to Yerevan. Dinner at the restaurant.

FORTRESS IN THE CLOUDS

Breakfast at the hotel. Start day with a visit to Amberd Fortress, the site started as a Stone Age settlement. The name translates to "fortress in the clouds" in Armenian. Next stop is the Saghmosavank, the 13th - century Armenian monastic complex. The main structures of the monasteries are the Church of Zion in Saghmosavank and the Church of Karapet in Hovhannavank. Visit to the Armenian Alphabet Monument. In 2005, the Armenian alphabet celebrated its 1600th birthday. In commemoration, it was given a gift of 39 giant, carved Armenian letters, strategically placed near the final resting place of the man who created the alphabet, Mesrop Mashtots. Lunch in a local restaurant. Come back to Yerevan. Dinner at the restaurant.

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit to Saint Hripsime Church (the 7th c.) - One of the oldest surviving churches in the country. Continue trip to Etchmiatsin city – the regional center of Armenia. Have a visit to the Mother Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin (the 4th century). Lunch at the restaurant. Sightseeing tour around the ruins of Zvartnots. Come back to Yerevan. Shopping time. Recommended sites: Vernissage, Armenian market.  Visit to the carpet factory “Megerian Carpet”. Megerian Oriental Rug family specialists in new and antique oriental rug sales and production. The Megerian Brother's tradition and integrity in the fine craft of hand-made rug making, and restoration of rugs and tapestries is world renown. Dinner at the restaurant of the factory with the master class of famous Armenian dish. Dinner at the restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.

THE PEARL OF ARMENIA / Little Switzerland

Breakfast at the hotel. Head to Lake Sevan, considering the blue pearl of Armenia. Its only peninsula is home to a medieval monastery - “Sevanavank”. Continue trip to Dilijan, usually called Armenian Switzerland by the locals, it is one of the most important resorts of Armenia. Leisure time in the heart of Armenian nature. Enjoy lunch in a local restaurant with Armenian traditional dishes. Continue trip to Alaverdi. Accommodation at the hotel. Dinner at the restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.

the TREASURES OF UNESCO

Breakfast at the hotel. Excursion to Haghpat and Sanahin Monasteries (10-13 cc.). The two monastic complexes represent the highest flowering of Armenian religious architecture. Lunch at the local restaurant. Drive to Armenia Georgia Sadakhlo border. Meeting with Georgian staff. Transfer to the hotel. Check-in . Dinner. Overnight at the hotel in Tbilisi.

The city of love

Early morning breakfast. Drive to the Monastery of Davit Gareja - has become subject to a border dispute between Georgia and Azerbaijan. The monastery was founded by Davit Gareja, one of the thirteen Assyrian monks who arrived in the country at the same time. Next stop is Kakheti- the romantic city of Sighnaghi. In Georgia, this city is well-known as the city of love, here the Georgian painter Niko Pirosmani had devoted a gift to his beloved, the actress Margarita, a million red roses. An incredible view to Alazani valley. In Sighnaghi city, have a degustation to the wines of Kakheti. Dinner (book and pay before head/HB). Overnight in Sighnaghi.

Fortress of Gremi

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive from Sighnaghi to the northern part of Kakheti. Have a visit to Cicandali, where is located the family patrimony of the Dukes of Chavchavadze. The farmstead, belonging to Aleksandr Chavchavadze is well known of the oldest wine cellar, the park with its chapel and its unique design. We have a stop in the Fortress of Gremi (XVI c.). In the middle of the century, Gremi was the capital of Khaketi. Nowadays the Fortress is an example of the medieval architecture. Continue trip to Telavi - the main city and administrative center of Georgia's eastern province of Kakheti. Telavi is the only city in Georgia where four different fortification monuments from different historical periods remain relatively intact. In the evening drive back to Tbilisi. Dinner (book and pay beforehead/HB). Overnight in Tbilisi.

Castle of Ananuri

Breakfast at the hotel, drive to the mountainous part of Georgia-Kazbegi. Drive to the ancient Castle of Ananuri - the castle complex on the Aragvi River, on the shore of Jinvali water reservoir, nearby Jinvali city. The castle was the scene of numerous battles. Driving to Kazbegi, where we begin a jeep tour to the mountain. Here we visit to the Gergeti Holy Trinity Church. Gergeti Sameba - the popular church. The church is situated on the right bank of the river Chkheri, at an elevation of 2170 meters, under Mount Kazbegi. You have a visit in the rural atmosphere, where you can taste the traditional dishes of Georgian cuisine. Participate in the culinary master-class od Georgian khinkali (a lunch and master-class optional). Dinner (book and pay beforehead/HB). Overnight in Kazbegi.

Christ's mantle

Breakfast. We begin our trip with a visit to Tbilisi. Have a visit to the oldest city of Georgia - Mtskheta. Visit to Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (XI c.) - the burial site of Christ's mantle, has long been the principal Georgian church and remains one of the most venerated places of worship to this day. Drive back to Tbilisi, have a leisure time. Dinner (book and pay beforehead/HB). Overnight in Tbilisi.

Georgian legend

Breakfast at the hotel. City tour in Tbilisi. Tbilisi - the capital and the largest city of Georgia, in the 5th century by the King Vakhtang I Gorgasali of Georgia. There are many historical and cultural sites in the city. We visit to Abanotubani - the ancient district of Tbilisi, known for its sulfuric baths (the 17-19 cc.). The sulfuric baths are remained and functioned till nowadays. Narikala Fortress - an ancient fortress overlooking Tbilisi. The fortress consists of two walled sections on a steep hill between the sulphur baths and the botanical gardens of Tbilisi. It was named Narikala in the end of the 18th c. The church of Metekhi- the main historical events of Tbilisi connecting to Metekhi plateau and the Church of Saint Mary/XIII c., locating on the top. As well, the Cathedral of Saint Trinity - Sameba, which was built in the period of 1996-2004 years. It is the main and unusual example of Georgian Orthodox church. Dinner with the folk show (book and pay beforehead/HB). Overnight in Tbilisi.
